At the time of my visit, Chad was one of two countries which the Foreign & Commonwealth Office advised AGAINST travelling to. Safety is therefore pretty important and that's one of the reasons I stayed here. Having said that I found the hotel OK. There is not much choice when traveling to the capital city of Chad. IT is pretty much this hotel or the Novotel, which I know nothing about. This hotel is OK at best. Stayed here for a few days on my way in and out of Chad. Nice hotel, overpriced, but to be expected since it is only this or the Novotel, and the Meridien is definitely nicer. Rooms are clean and tasteful and the A/C works well. The pool is also very nice and also very quiet, with nice comfortable lounge chairs... more
