I first stayed at the equatorial in april 2008 and have stayed there for a total of 11 weekends since it is a very good hotel with friendly helpful staff with a good level of english...the only let down is location but a 5 or 10 minute taxi and you are in the thick of things...but you could always join... more

Luxury Hotel that I couldn't fault. About 13 stories high affording panoramic views. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range. The hotel is a fair bit out of the way however a shuttle bus was available but sometimes was fully booked. This is a pretty average hotel (4 star-ish).Clean,good room service and I found the front desk people very helpful.Swimming pool was good.A couple of days really packed the other two nearly deserted.Plenty of choice at breakfast.Useful to have the shuttle bus into town but probably better to actually be in district one.No complaints about this hotel at all. more

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. It is very good with all the cleaniness, service and amenities you'd expect from such a property.
