Best Western Premier is showing its age [I would guess 15 years at least]. The carpeting in the room is old, the furniture is plain and old, this is not a new first class room. I really didn't know much about Xiamen before visiting, but I'm so pleased that we chose this lovely hotel for our stay. The location was excellent - not too far from the airport, and also a short taxi ride to the downtown area and the Gulangyu Island ferry. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants around the hotel.... more
