We were on a business trip so I was on my own most of the day at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa which is conveniently situated only fifteen minutes from Sky Harbor Airport. This is rated as a three star hotel but the service was five star. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for... more

I stayed there for 4 nights in June 07. The computers were almost always down so I was given an "emergency key" to enter my room and also had to pay in cash at the bar and restaurant on multiple occassions. All of the elevators got stuck 1 day and I had to take the service elevator. The food in... more

I stayed at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa for three nights in early April. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel and the service provided. I was able to check-in early, and be given a room on a higher floor. I happened to receive two cookies and milk each night of my stay, which was a very nice touch. Although... more

Before booking this hotel, I read the reviews posted. What was common to most was complaints about the location. Yes, the location isn't the best but certainly it isn't the worst, either. We expected to find ourselves in the middle of a desolate area. However, it wasn't all that bad. If you are there in good weather, walk down Centennial... more

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights using reward points. The hotel itself was very nice, staff responded promptly to our room's heater not working. Room was fairly clean with the exception of some tissue behind a chair. The location however was poor. The hotel is isolated in a economically depressed area. Tatoo, automotive and liqour... more

Am a Marriott Rewards member, frequent traveler; this was one of my best stays in memory! Room has Japanese / Zen influences; sheets lightly scented, nice toiletries... Even though room has a refrigerator, there was a cold bottle of milk in the ice bucket with chocolate chip cookies for bedtime snack... The only Marriott I've stayed in with free internet... more

Phoenix Marriott Mesa is right in the center of Mesa. If that's where you want to be, you can't beat it. If not, it's a bit off the beaten track -- downtown, about a mile or two from the freeway. This is definitely what you'd expect a Marriott to be -- very comfortable, great bedding, an excellent shower. They cover... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid Octorber to attend a Family Reunion. When we checked in the room we were given was supposed to have been smoke free, but reeked of cigars. The front desk was very apologetic and gave us a room on the 11th floor with access to the Concierge Lobby. The new room was clean and... more
