This resort is often known as a convention hotel. Stayed here for pleasure and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice that all are two bedroom suites. Resort was built in 1982 and has been maintained very well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pointe in Time is good for breakfast. And a Different Point of View... more

Just returned from 6 days at this resort.. Quick and to the point:: The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. That's the outside. On the inside...the rooms are dismal. I can't imagine why they had a recent remodel and the rooms still look like these do. It's not just dated, it's also drab. I would only stay here if there is... more

Overall, this was a nice hotel. We checked in late and the hotel was 100% full. As a result, we received a room in which the air conditioning didn't work. The hotel said they were unaware of the problem prior to our arrival and would fix it. They forgot to fix it. They did fix it on our second day... more

We stayed for a quickly planned 4 day weekend and were thrilled with this place. Our party consisted of one mom (author of this review) a teenage son, and a second grade daughter. This place met all of our needs. My daughter is raving about all the pools saying the one with the water slide was "amazing". My son's favotrites... more

There are lots of great resorts in Phoenix. I was staying here for business and found the accomodations acceptable, but nothing special. The layout is haphazard and the staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. A couple of examples, the pools in the main area of the hotel, did not have a children's pool. There was a $13.95 daily charge... more

My husband and I visited as a last relaxing trip before our new baby is born next month. Overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay filled with great service and beautiful views. Check in was perfect. Tony led us by car to our Hidden Valley suite and explained everything about the resort and best places to eat while at... more

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs is built into the foothills in North Phoenix. It is right next to the Phoenix North Mountain Preserve so it is a wonderful location for hikers. The hotel has a waterpark with a 138 foot slide and lots of pools all over the property. The accommodations are very comfortable. I particularly liked the reading lights attached... more

Stayed here the weekend of March 14th. Stayed here with my wife for a weekend get away without the kids. I must admit I was anxious about the resort when we were driving there as the surrounding area's are not very nice. But one corner later we arrived and we surprised at how nice it was. We pulled into the... more

My wife and I spent a week at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs over New Year's break, 2008. We have been to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area many times, and have stayed at the Pointe a number of times before: winter and summer seasons. Needless to say, if we didn't like it, I wouldn't have booked this stay. However, I must say... more
