OK, let's get one thing straight, this is not a 5 star luxury hotel. If you are expecting 500 thread count sheets, thick terrycloth robes, and obsequious bellboys, this is not the place for you. If, however, you need a clean comfortable place to stay after a long day of travel, this hotel is a great economical choice. While returning... more

My husband stayed at this place for one night. I booked it for him based on the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, which I used to trust. He categorized the property as "old and gross" and did not think I would like the bed were I traveling with him. I'm sure there are better places to stay in Tempe that are... more

I stayed here with my family, (wife and 14 month old son) for one night before heading off to camp in the Grand Canyon. The hotel provided us a clean and comfortable room at a good price. What more could you ask for? The staff was friendly, the free breakfast was complete. We used the hotel provided crib, and found... more

Initially booked for one night after flight from UK to Phoenix, found the hotel to be so nice we stayed an extra night. Plenty of places nearby to eat. Large, clean rooms with a good choice for breakfast (included). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely use this hotel again. more

We are a family (with 2 young children) needing a clean and comfortable place to sleep after traveling all day long via car and planes. We had relunctantly booked this hotel after not being able to find anything comparable to fit our budget (and refusing to pay $200/night for a Holiday Inn Express or other comparable overpriced chain in the... more

How much I like a hotel is pretty much based on what my wife thinks of it. If I pick a lousy one I am the one that has to hear about it over and over. Not being a big fan of Best Westerns in general, I trusted the reviews that I had read on TripAdvisor and sure enough they... more

After fleeing another Phoenix-area hotel after a single night, it was good to return here for the remainder of my stay. This was my 2nd time staying here. The hotel is in a convenient location two minutes from the Interstate and 10-15 minutes from the airport. The Arizona Mills mall is nearby with tons of outlet shopping as well as... more

I just spent 2 nights at this Best Western. It's an average property. Nothing special but then again no real problems. It is convenient to the Arizona Mills Outlet Mall as well as freeways. It was quiet and everything worked OK. The breakfast was really nothing special. I found the staff to be pleasant and I encountered no problems. As... more

I recently stayed at the Best Western Tempe and had no regrets. The hotel was selected because of good traveller reviews and a reasonable price (not easy to find in Phoenix in late Fall). Nice, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. Was prepared to be disappointed after previous bad experiences in other Tempe hotels, but was very pleasantly surprised. Would... more

This was by far the best Best Western we have stayed at. In fact, after an initial visit of 5 days, we came back to it twice during the same holiday. Good location 5 minutes walk from the Mall and Restaurants and slightly further away from the noise of the freeway than the other chain motels in the area. Staff... more
