I invited a friend from Canada to see the Grand Canyon on a whirlwind four day trip to visit me in Vegas. After reading such great reviews of the newly remodeled Rodeway Inn I thought I would give it a shot. I rented two rooms each boasting a King size bed. The motel sits right on the main street that... more

No issues with this hotel. We drove from Las Vegas (stayed at The Hotel!!) to visit the grand canyon. We checked in, rested a bit, then went to the park. check in/out was a breeze- they check you out the night before, so you just leave the keys when you leave. We booked last minute- 2 weeks before- so all... more

The rooms were of a good size and had appropirate amenities. The motel is in an excellect position for exploring the town of Williams and is very suitable for an overnight stop. You might, however, hear the sound of the trains in the early morning. I slept through the five o'clock siren although my wife did not. The staff are... more

As other travelers, we were disappointed by this motel. It is true that the rooms are nice looking since they were renovated recently but It is way too expensive, especially for the 4th of July weekend. The beds were hard, the pillows too high, the air conditioning loud and moreover the railroad is close by and trains honking woke us... more

This is a 50s motel with a new paint job and room remodel. The rooms are small and cramped. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here because of the rating and reviews. We were very disappointed. No laundry room. Breakfast was coffee and danish. No pool. This motel was the worst on our trip and... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2008 while visiting the Grand Canyon with our 2 sons. The outside is old in keeping with the Rte 66 theme but the insides are all new and fabulous! The bedding was luxurious and the baths were marble and stone. TV was great as well - rooms are on the small side... more

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting the south rim of the Grand Canyon which is approximately 1hr drive north of Williams. Despite being small, the accomodation was very clean and well presented which was a pleasant surprise since the property does not look much from the outside. We initially booked a 3-night stay but later changed our plans... more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days while in Williams. Absolutely loved it. All the reviews on here are dead on. Had some problems checking in, apparently the price I had reserved wasn't offered anymore and had problems with the computer taking it. But that was quickly resolved and they even discounted one of the nights because of it. I... more

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Downtowner. Spent two nights at the Downtowner last week and would go back in a heartbeat. Don't confuse this hotel with other Rodeways in the area that aren't getting such great reviews, or older reviews possibly from when someone else owned this property. This IS the one to... more

My wife and I were attracted to this property by all the positive reviews we had read. We had made a reservatioan in advance. The motel is not much (actually) to look at from the street....but my wife was wowed by the room decor. (I had seen some photos and knew what to anticipate.) BUT....a few minor drawbacks - ice... more
