Very nice hotel! The pool and the garden are beautiful as well. Cleaning stuff, receptionists, security and the other guys which maintained the area outside were always friendly. The Barcelo Colonia Tropical has been a nice, small, independent hotel with some self catering. Unfortunately it seems to have been taken over by the nearby all inclusive capella beach resort.This means that self catering is no longer available, the pots and pans etc. have been removed and the on site shop does not sell food.
