We spent 2 nights in a private casita here in April. There were very few guests as our stay took place over 2 weekdays in the beginning of the slow season. Our casita was beautifully furnished and comfortable, with our own outside hot tub. We enjoyed our accomodation and the many pools(5!) that are on the property. Shopping at the... more

This was the third time my wife and I have stayed at CDZ, and the second time with two kids. Since we keep going back we clearly love the place and feel it is worth the premium price, but I thought I'd offer a little info for new or returning visitors. First, If you have kids you'll probably want to... more

This is a beautiful property. A large lap pool, as well as smaller pools by each group of rooms made our vacation satisfying to each member of the family. The landscaping is well-kept and appealing. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are pleasant. more

We stayed here one night while in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park; I called the hotel to make the reservation because the website didn't load properly so I couldn't see all of the room details. I signed up for a package which included a King bed room on one of the pools, continental breakfast, desert wildflower & hiking trail information,... more

We recently stayed at La Casa del Zorro, not really knowing what to expect after reading the previous reviews: it sounded like it could be a disaster or an experience of a lifetime. I am happy to report that it was the later, and one that will not be forgotten soon. From my very first call, I felt like the... more

The rooms and the property are lovely; the rooms are exceptionally spacious, and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable; the bathroom is what one sees at five-star properties. The pools are nice, though at the end of the day that we stayed, they needed to be cleaned, as did the pool deck. Service between the front desk and the rooms... more

4 of us stayed in one of their 2 bedroom suites with a jacuzzi, "the Maraposa". We were greeted with fresh fruit in the room, which was wonderful. The bed was outstanding as well as all of the amenities. After reading the reviews here, we were reluctant to eat at their restaurant, but we did so anyway. And were we... more

La Casa del Zorro is truly a 5 star resort in every way--style, accommodations, service, activities, etc. As we read somewhat negative reviews of their restaurant, the Butterfield Room, we went expecting the food to be overpriced and disappointing, but this what not so at all!! It was beautifully and tastefully prepared at the going rate for such a fine... more

We stayed at La Casa Del Zorro for a night last week. Our room was lovely and the bathroom was spectacular. We got a tour of the place because we are thinking of getting married there. The grounds of this 140 acre hotel are wonderful. There must be at least 10 pools, an archery range and new fitness center. You... more

La Casa del Zorro is a gem in the middle of the Southern California desert. It is very hard for me to fairly describe this place since it is so unusual in many ways. Picture a one street hick town in the middle of the desert. Out of nowhere pops up a vacation oasis called La Casa del Zorro. The... more
