My wife and I spent three nights at the Carneros Inn. Picture yourself sitting on your private deck, in your private garden area, sipping a fine pinot noir. If you can, this is the place for you. Plane and simple: great accomodations, great service, and great surroundings. Other than some dogs barking in the distance...this place was a 9.5 out... more

My wife and I traveled to Napa with friends, and decided to stay at one place (Carneros) for our entire visit, over one week. It was a great decision. The rooms were very nice - cottages, actually, with spacious bathrooms and large outdoor patios with plenty of seating. The patios also have heaters, which work very well during the chilly... more

My wife and I staying at The Carneros for 2 nights at the end of June for a romantic getaway. We loved it. Its a non-conventional type resort because its not setup like a hotel with doors right next to each other. Every unit is its own house, almost like a little apartment. They attention to detail is incredible. Outside... more

This place is AMAZING!!!! We stayed here for the three days/nights in the middle of our honeymoon - we didn't leave the grounds for three days! The spa is wonderful and has unique and refreshing touches; the restaurants are culinary delights [the decor in The Farm is SO COOL - I think they called it "aggro-sheek"]; the best part is... more

During our three week holiday in which we visited Oregon, California and Nevada we spent first four and then two nights at The Carneros Inn. We stayed in Larsen 6 and Lee 8. The staff are generally young, enthusiastic and very helpful. Checking in is a smooth operation. The rooms are small chalets which are very well appointed with flat... more

We celebrated our anniversary at the Carneros Inn. What a lovely place. The meals were outstanding at the Farm Restaurant, and good lunch at the Hilltop restaurant. We also had fabulous massages and we felt they weren't rushed whatsoever. Staff is top notch and so friendly. One thing l like too is our cottage room which had an outdoor private... more

Yes it is a different set-up Yes the amenities are spread-out Yes it is expensive However it is located in a beautiful setting in the Carneros Region of Napa Valley, less than an hour from San Francisco and close to some amazing wineries and restaurants. The welcome was professional and warm, the rooms well appointed. The service went above and... more

We just came back form a wonderful 5 night stay at Carneros Inn. There were three adults and a two year old. We had an Orchard Suite and then a cottage as well. It worked wonderfully for us. In the end we could have all stayed in the suite, but it was nice to have a get-a-way spot in the... more

WOW! The Carneros Inns website does NOT do justice to the beauty of this property! Their service is outstanding! Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable and treated us like VIP's! When you first pull in you are greeted by what we thought was a valet but he walked us in, waited and conversed... more

My husband and I joined three other couples to the Carneros Inn this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay very much and found that as a whole package- the rooms, the amenities, spa, pools, fitness room, yoga classes, boutique, restaurants- it was a wonderful location. You really don't even have to leave the property and could just hang out and... more
