We are on a cross country trip. Wednesday we left Homewood Suites in Fairfield and travelled to Redding for what was to be a 3 night stay. When we arrived, there was a note on the front door, "Pool is temporarily closed sorry for the inconvience" When I asked about it, they said it would be a few hours and... more

We stay at this hotel often when in Redding to visit relatives. It is just a great place, especially for the price. We have had to stay in other hotels occasionally when La Quinta was full, or just to see if there is somewhere else we might like better, but we keep coming back. We have tried other La Quinta... more

Horrible! Upon checking in we discovered dried blood on our supposedly clean pillow case and when we called the front desk we were informed that due to the hour housekeeping would not be available until the next day. We were in Redding to attend a wedding of which we had the address of the wedding site which was situated behind... more

IF YOU REQUIRE A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOM, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE HOTEL OF THAT IN ADVANCE. DO NOT JUST BOOK A "HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE ROOM". Read more below. I have now stayed here two times within the past month, once with my disabled (wheelchair bound) mother with advanced reservations and once with my husband without advanced reservations. I agree with other... more

We stayed in La Quinta in Redding as the first stop in our Northern California and Oregon road trip. The hotel is conveniently located near Interstate 5 and there are many restaurants along Hilltop Drive. Ross and Kmart are also nearby. The room we got was actually comfortable and very clean. The full beds were not too hard nor too... more

While the staff is friendly, the hotel is definitely aging. I asked for a bottom-floor room not too close to elevators or doors and was given a room in a great location. However, the room upon entry had a sickly stale smell in it. My mother, who was with me and generally does not mind lower priced lodging, was grossed... more

This hotel was really great. The rooms were huge and the staff was friendly. I loved the fact that Cattlemens was right next door. There were tons of restaurants in the area so we had no problem picking out a place to eat. The room was clean and pretty modern. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated. more

We have stayed here several times over the past few years. Granted, it is not the newest and shiniest in Redding, but the service has always been great and it is a good value for your dollar. The rooms are roomy and they have hi speed internet. Great stop to break up a drive from Seattle, WA to SoCal. more

The hotel lobby has a warm ambiance about it, which doesn't match up with the unfriendly--almost rude--reception I got from the older gentleman who manned the desk the three different times we'd stayed there. Why have I stayed there 3X despite the almost-rude desk clerk? Because the other amenities (spacious rooms; above-average cleanliness; variety of FREE continental breakfast; convenient access... more

Even though La Quinta Inns are classified as "budget”, this hotel comes in well above average. It is a great place to stay. VERY friendly staff. Great bed, and very clean. Would stay here again without question. more
