My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Redding, CA property. Rooms were comfortable and the staff was extra freindly. We will surely stay at this property again on our way back home. more

We stayed here overnight during a trip from Portland to Los Angeles. We arrived WITH A CONFIRMED RESERVATION at 9 p.m. but had to wait 45 minutes to get our room because they were hanging wallpaper. Other guests also had to wait. The front desk girl was dismissive and rude. Once in our room, workers continued to hang wallpaper in... more

We stayed just one night at the HI Express. When we got there though, the desk clerk explained that it would no longer be an Holiday Inn Express as of the following day. Everything in the room was nice. A bit small compared to other HI Express' that we've stayed in but very clean. Good standard continental breakfast. Staff was... more

You never know what you're going to get when you pull of the road for the night. We were quite surprised by the Holiday Inn Express in Redding. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly and helpful employee who checked us in and gave us information on where we could find late-night dining and a coffee stop... more

We chose this hotel because we were a large group and all wanted to be in one room. Our room was very nice, slept 6 comfortably. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only one bathroom made it a challenge in the morning, but we made it work. Breakfast was O.K. cereal, fruit, juice and the like. We didn't... more

This was the worst experience to date at a Holiday Inn Express. First it should be known that the hotel is right beside the freeway and despite being a good sleeper, the traffic was constant enough and loud enough to be heard. After getting the key at check in and opening the door to my room, I quickly realized that... more

We had stayed at this hotel last year and were very satisfied and decided to return again this year. Redding is generally our last stop on our return trip from the NASCAR races in Phoenix. There is easy access to and from the freeway and the hotel is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast room was a little crowded on Sunday... more

We traveled to Redding from Sacramento to visit Turtle Bay and the Sundial bridge. There were four of us, and we slept very well with two queen beds. The room was very clean and comfortable. I could hear the traffic from the freeway a little bit, but it wasn't loud enough to keep me from sleeping. Our room faced the... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night to break up a drive we made from CA to OR and were very pleased with the stay. The room was $84/night with the AAA discount and included a continental breakfast and wireless internet access at no additional cost. When we made the reservation via the internet I requested a crib and... more

Nice hotel right off of I-5. Great jump off point for exploring Redding/Sacramento River or Shasta recreation areas. We stayed overnight as part of our west coast "road trip". Very good complimentary continental breakfast. Only complaint: side entrances could not be used for entry since they would not open with the room keys provided (obviously a continuing problem since many... more
