It has been a hot summer in Denver and my husband and I decided to take a trip to the mountains. We chose the Pines based on a reccomendation from my brother. We had a great corner room with a view down the valley and all of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to take... more

We just returned from a 2 week motorcycle trip through Colorado. With out a doubt the Pines Lodge was the nicest place we stayed for the price. They were very accomodating with our bikes and bent over backwards to help. They don't charge for extras like other upscale hotels. Not only was laundry free but so was the detergent. I... more

We booked this hotel thru www.visitvailvalley.com/vailonsale.asp?id=97 The booking was nonrefundable, but the price was reasonable so we booked it. We were emailed a confirmation showing the 'total charge.'When we checked out, however, the hotel had charged our credit card a higher rate. The front desk said they couldn't help us as 'the credit card had already been charged,' but that... more

The location of this hotel is spectacular, but all around the service was poor. Upon check-in no one helped us with our bags, we were given the lowest class room overlooking the drop-off and valet driveway (probably because we booked through priceline), despite the fact the hotel was empty for the duration of our stay. We requested a better room... more

On behalf of the management and staff, I sincerely apologize that your stay with us was less than legendary. In order to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible we staff two bellmen during the day to help with luggage assistance as well as valet services. It seems that during your stay our bellmen were active in assisting...

We stayed in a double room (2 queens) for 2 night on July 3 & 4, 2008. We bid on the room on Priceline and got a $112 a night rate including taxes. We were thrilled to find out we had gotten the Pines. Though we ski Beaver Creek frequently, we had not visited in the Summer. This resort is... more

A brief stay at Pines Lodge over holiday weekend was simply spectacular. What an extraordinary hotel-the service was incredible; the staff went out of its way to anticipate every need and make my family's vacation wonderful. The rooms were charming, the location perfect, the cuisine amazing and the service fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel. more

The hotel is beautiful and best in class. The Pines is perfectly located in Beaver Creek providing breathtaking views. You will feel like a world class traveler. You are in walking distance to all the shops and activities (or shuttle bus is readily available if preferred). The summer months are truly magnificant with the sun filled days and cool nights,... more

The Pines is a luxury resort in a beautiful mountain settling located within easy walking distance of mountain hiking trails and Beaver Creek restaurants, shops etc. However be aware of a common sin that is becoming more the norm rather than the exception. I routinely am in the room working while the rooms are cleaned by hotel staff. The Pines... more

The Pines Lodge management and staff truly appreciate all feedback received from our guests. To better serve you, we address any concerns to alleviate issues that may arise in the future. I would like to explain the housekeeping concerns that were mentioned on June 17, 2008. When housekeeping is permitted to clean a room with a guest present, the cleaning...

Not my type of place. Too expensive for what you get. They tried to stick us in a room NEXT DOOR to construction. You HAVE to valet your car, and nope if you forget a bottle of water in your car you can not walk to it, you have to have them bring it around. The hotel is in a... more

I apologize that your stay with us in Beaver Creek did not meet your expectations. In an effort to continually improve our facilities and satisfy our guests, we occasionally complete construction projects. I apologize that you were placed in a room too close to the noise, we are always willing to rectify situations like this if it is brought to...

We drove in from Denver for a full day of skiing before checking into the Pines in the afternoon.....but wouldn't you know it, our son became sick. We checked our daughter into ski school then proceeded to the Pines to ask about early check in. They had us in a room by 11:00am! Staff was always helpful and pleasant. Outdoor... more
