St. Michel is a boutique hotel in Coral Gables. We had stayed there before, loved it, and looked forward to the visit. Our room was just perfect. Spacious, nicely decorated with a king bed. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The public spaces are very Parisian. The "BUT" is that the hotel seems to be in transition. The last time we... more

Stayed one night in room 312. Room was small, quiant, clean, but a bit worn. The restaurant was closed during my visit. Breakfast consisted of muffins, packaged croissants and coffee served in the hotel bar. Had breakfast a few blocks away at Coral Gables diner (food was good but over-priced). Parking is in a garage across the street for $9/... more

We were looking forward to spent our last day in Miami and in the hotel St.Michael. We arrived early. The room was just cleaned. The soaps, hair and spots from other guest were there, but that can happen, isn't it?!?! The room was nice, so.... okay! We had diner in the restaurant. "every Friday is Latin Night, live" they prommised.... more

I should have listened to some of the disappointed reviews listed. This place needs a serious update and a more current review than 2005. I am originally from the area and am surprised with the lack of quality - especially when their website states otherwise. The room was small and a bit on the dingy side with dingy comforter and... more

Extremely disappointed. The hotel promotes customer service but failed to produce. No matter how simple the question , the response was "no comprende". My 83 yr.old friend & I only speak English & had problems communicating with the staff. We found the restaurant staff to be just plain rude. The elevator was faulty & a trip hazard. We were so disappointed,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel St. Michel for 4 nights from October 5th-9th. The hotel is quite interesting in its design with each room being decorated individually with various antiques. We had a corner room with 2 large french doors and a King size bed. The bedding was really lush and had several decorator pillows. Each day... more

Hotel St. Michel is not your typical hotel. The rooms are smaller, the hallways are filled with European type decor. The rooms are comforatable, making you feel like you're home and not at a hotel. The beds however can be brought up to date - smaller than avg. hotels. Perfect for a few days stay. Due note, the hotels charges... more

Words cannot express how disappointed I am with the Hotel Place St. Michel. I was really looking forward to it as I had always heard incredible things about the elegant restaurant (and brunch) and imagined that the hotel would be the same. Well, lets just say that it reminded me of the hotel from the Twilight Zone ride at MGM...... more

We selected this hotel largely because it was close to the Miracle Mile (4 blocks) and supposedly quiet. It was actually pretty noisy. We're in our 20s and don't have much trouble sleeping, but the walls were so thin you could hear everyone in the hall and street noise was a problem. Staff were not very friendly; a point we... more

We spent one night, which was rather pleasant. We did not eat in the hotel, but lots of choices just a few blocks away. The room as well equipped and clean, however the bathroom was rather small, but we loved the whole experience. Will go back. more
