My family and I had a great time here at the Hawiian inn. The dinner show was excellent and the food was just as good. The sfaff was friendly and attended to all of our needs without any problems. The guest was friendly too. We had a oceanfront studio with queen size beds with a roll away bed, the room... more

My family had a wonderful time at the Hawaiian Inn. We were there for 11 days. It was one of our best vacations and we’ve been going to Daytona for many years. I originally was concerned based on all the reviews, but I rented off of an owner (room 305). Communication between the two of us was great. She was... more

My family of 5 (one being a 9month old and I am nearly 6 mo pregnant) booked a room through a private individual back in January. We stayed in room 208. The hotel is nice looking for the most part, the pool area is very nice. Beach access is a little scary and the condo is mostly nice, very clean... more

My family and I have been going to the Hawaiin inn for 4 years.Previously before that we stayed at Tresure Island. We did not go there this year, Instead we went to Myrtle Beach. What a mistake! We are already counting the days until we go back to the Hawaiin. The rooms we have had in the past have always been... more

Daytona Beach - Hawaiian Inn July 7, 2008 Looks can be deceiving...We just returned from a trip to Daytona Beach Florida where we stayed at the Hawaiian Inn. We booked our room a month in advance and when we arrived and walked in to the lobby we thought wow what a beautiful place. We arrived a couple hours early after... more

We stayed at this hotel in 2007 and 2008 and had quite different experiences. For the most part, the 2007 stay went OK, with the exception of the palmetto bug by the elevator doors. But it was an outside corridor, so I could live with that in Florida. I did not find any bugs in the room, but didn't look... more

Checked in 6/6/08 around 10:00 pm, stayed in room 521. When we opened the sofa bed to get ready for bed there were crumbs in the bed and a blood stained sheet. Called mgmt, sent a person up to change sheets. No pillows for bed..called for pillows. Odd odor in room. During the night noticed there was no hot water... more

I am so sorry for your experience at our hotel. We strive every day here to provide 100% guest satisfaction and clearly we fell short of that during your stay. To clarify, the pillow that housekeeping did find, belonged to a different guest that lost their pillow as well. It is only in knowing our weakness that we can improve...

We were on our way home from Universal Studios in Orlando when we decided to stay at the Hawaiian Inn. It is a large hotel with five floors that is located directly on the ocean. What we liked about it: the pools (one indoor and one outdoor), the yard in general (attractive and pleasant), proximity and ease for getting to... more

The first room we were given was nice except the doors did not work. We could not open them. My son almost got locked out. We were moved to her unit. Her unit was nice. We then had to deal with hotel maintaince coming in and out on our last day because of a leak below us. We then had... more

Please, whatever you do, do not book with this woman!! We booked her personal room, thinking that it would be our safest bet for getting a decent room, but we were mstaken. The room had had plumbing problems and so it stank and the linens smelled like mildew. The bed sunk in the middle and we got no sleep that... more

Management response from

A small hole was placed in the tile by maintenance to repair a valve stem. This woman swore up and down that it was making the unit "stink." Maintenance returned to the unit to investigate, and called me stating "there is no odor whatsoever." All of the engineers were busy with plumbing problems at the other end of the complex,...
