My husband surprised me by wisking me off to Casa Casaurina in South Beach. It is a very exclusive 10 suite hotel and is rated 5 star. Words can't begin to capture how lavish Casa Casuarina is inside. It makes the George V in Paris look shabby. The bedrooms are breath taking. Obviously there's a frisson of excitement about staying somewhere so rich in pop culture history, but the story really only really begins when you get past the steps and gates.
