Very nice place, close enough to restaurants, convention center and sea world. The duck march into the pond is absolutely priceless!!! more

Where do I start? I travel a lot to Orlando with work/leisure and usually stay over the road at the Rosen Centre which I adore. Anyway tried Priceline and got the hotel for £40($85)per night If I can repeat this deal I will never go back. To start witharrival was faultless, outside with the mini waterfalls to the ice cold... more
Just completed stay at this property. Facility is very nice. Rooms are nice sized as are the bathrooms. Closets are very small, but there is an in-room safe. The staff at the hotel is generally friendly and seem to be concerned their guests have an enjoyable stay. Everyone is charged a $10/day resort fee. This covers 2 bottles of water... more
We felt that the Peabody was a nice hotel, and the staff was very friendly. Our issue was with the parking situation. We were in town for a convention June 26-29, 2008 at the Convention Center. After 17 hours of driving in two days (with a 3 year old), we pulled into the parking lot and were told that the... more
I just came back from an extended weekend stay and wanted everyone to be aware of the pros and cons of staying here. Needless to say, the valet parking is big problem but there are others. I've tried to summarize the likes and dislikes below. Pros: 1. The hotel is very nice and rooms are clean and comfortable. We especially... more
The hotel was great, we even got the King bed we requested, front desk staff was courteous and polite, Karina, i think that is the correct spelling was very accomodating giving us an early checkin. The only downfall was the valet service. Upon registering at the hotel, they never gave us a ticket for self parking, so we had to... more
I was attending a convention in the North Hall of the Orange county Convention Center and the Peabody was one of the official hotels. I picked this hotel because it had a high star rating plus it was supposed to be walking distance to the convention center. While I loved my stay at the Peabody, it ended up being a... more
This is a nice hotel, but definitely should be boycotted based on the shoddy valet service. Here's the nightmare: valet company "lost" our car. They had no idea where they had parked it. We waited over an hour for our car -- and then they gave us cab fare to meet the rest of our party. The car was eventually... more
Am surprised to read about all the valet problems because there was no evidence of it during our stay. Longest wait time we experienced was fifteen minutes in the three times we requested our car. Room was nice. Our daughter liked all the pillows on the bed and the maid scored brownie points for having her doll propped up "waiting"... more
For the price I paid ($70 thru Priceline) I can't complain about the room- it was beautiful and has a great view of the pool. And the staff (even the valet parking staff) were very courteous and professional. But the fees are simply unacceptable. First of all, the hotel used to have free self-parking. But since the hotel is being... more
