After reading all the reviews on this site to get a feel for the Port Orleans, we thought that this would be a great hotel to stay at. People have written that it's better than a deluxe at a moderate price. I will honestly say you get what you pay for in this case. We are a family of five,... more

This was my first time staying at Disney. The hotel was exactly as described and surpassed my expectations for a moderate resort. The room was spacious, clean and was very well maintained by the mouse keepers. The staff was very friendly at all times. The on property dining hall had great food. The scenery is beautiful and the river is... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our own, child free for the first time in years. This was a great choice. There is something for every age, The food court has a good choice of meals and was very clean. The pool was great, although we did prefer a smaller pool, closer to our room. Having this... more

We have just returned from a fab family holiday to Riverside and it was great. We have a 2 and 5 year old and they loved all of the animals and birds walking around the edges of the paths. We were allocated room 1440 on our first night but promptly asked to be moved first thing in the morning. It... more

Pros: I really liked the themed rooms & they accommodated a family of 4 well. I also liked the nice wooded walk to the bus stop. Having 2 sinks was also very convenient w/4 people sharing a room. It's on Disney property, so you have convenient transportation to all of the parks, resorts, etc... Cons: The pool closest to our... more

We arrived at this hotel at 11 AM in the morning. There was a long line to check in, but it moved rather quickly. Kim, checked us in right away and offered us our rooms. Although we asked for adjoining rooms, there were none available at that time. We could have waited and gotten them, but we were more anxious... more

Me and my family just got back from DisneyWorld and we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. This is a wonderful hotel and the staff was exceptional. We traveled with another family making the total number of people 9 and we all agreed we would stay there again. The rooms are big enough for a family of 4 and 5 ,... more

I work for the airlines, so travel a lot. And have stayed at Disney hotels many, many times. So of course we wanted another Disney hotel for this last trip, per Disney's reputation for excellence & details. But this particular hotel is the WORST hotel - Disney or not - that I have EVER stayed at ! I am SOOO... more

I loved staying at the Port Orleans Riverside WDW resort for the past week. Location was great near all the parks. Parking was ample. But don't expect much regarding the room, it was pretty typical. The room consisted of two double beds, plus another mattress that rolled out from under the bed. You be the judge if a double bed... more

I am a long time Disney Traveler but this is the first time that I had stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort in several years. I was a little hesitant but that hesitation soon disappeared - it was wonderful......I could not have asked for a nicer room, and the grounds and transportation were certainly up the the high Disney... more
