I was in Boise for a regional NEA conference. The Grove was one of the assigned hotels. Overall, it was okay... not a stand out, but okay. It was the first hotel, that I've resided in, to have large LCD screen TVs, which kinda' added to the night time experience...in the residential sense. Not a place to write home about,... more

Stayed at the Grove for an academic convention. The convention facilities were very comfortable and complete, though a bit of a maze for some of the conference rooms. The hotel staff was great- very helpful, accomodating and professional. The patio suites are very spacious and comfortable, though the bedroom needed better ventilation. The standard rooms were a bit small, but... more

Just attended a conference in Boise and stayed at the Grove. Nice place and location, but the parking underneath is very cramped. In fact, my car was hit (no note left) and I just had an estimate of around $700-$800 for the repair. Thank you very much. There is a hockey arena built into the complex and when there is... more

I was in Boise for a regional NEA conference. The Grove was our assigned hotel. When I compare it with my experiences at other hotels (during other NEA conferences), it was okay. As hotels go, nothing about it stood out. I wasn't a bad experience, nor was it a great experience. It was just a place to lie my head... more

Excellent downtown location, frequent airport shuttles, very helpful desk and bellmen, and very comfortable, clean room with all the amenities: wi-fi ($10), luxurious bedding, good size, recently remodeled bathroom: this was an excellent business hotel, at a great price (corporate rates range from $99-129/night.) All meals at restaurant were gourmet quality, and the hours were long. more

Our room at the Grove was small, I thought too small for 7 days, so we upped to a suite. We were there for a wedding and with all the boys and tuxes and family, it was a good idea. Both rooms were clean, had real glasses!, nice linens, were spotless. The check-in people were always helpful and the front... more

A questionable place to stay if you are female. I felt so threatened that I checked out during my second night there. Three loud, aggressive, foul-mouthed football players checked into the room next door, where they whooped, stomped and shouted profanities. As they wandered in and out of the room and down the hall, they yelled obscenities and banged on... more

This should not be a 3 or 4 star hotel. While it looks nice on the outside, and while the lobby gives the appearance of being a nice hotel, looks can be (and are in this case) deceiving. You park underground and take a painfully long elevator up into the lobby. Even an employee in the elevator complained to me... more

I was only going to be in Boise overnight, so I wanted a decent room, one which I might frequent on subsequent stays...I went online and did a search for Hotels in the Boise Area and was greeted with a host of budget hotels that I am sure were ok but I wanted a better experience. The Grove Hotel was... more
