The reason to stay at any of the cabins here is for the convenience of being so close to the Lake. Redfish Lake is one of the most beautiful spots in Idaho. The cabin is very dated - - think of your college bedspread from 30 years ago - - it's on the bed there. And you know that Bob... more

We went with a large group for hiking and dinner. The service in the restaurant was terrible and the food was awful. We were ignored in the restaurant for twenty minutes before the waiter told us that we were not allowed to order a hamburger - we had to move to the bar. The burgers were made of frozen patties... more

The lighting in the rooms is very dim. The furnishings need to be replaced, they are in bad condition, dirty and with holes in the fabric. The service from the staff is poor, they are mostly students. The lodge in capital letters and dark type states. "Absolutely no pets allowed." This is not enforced, on both occasions I have seen... more

Redfish Lake Lodge is a rustic lodge in a beautiful location. Redfish Lake is 5 miles South of Stanley, ID, in the Sawtooth Mountains. It's in a national forest, and the lodge is the only approved non-campground accommodation in the park. The lodge is really a collection of cabins and a lodge. We stayed in one of the lake suites,... more

Our daughter and her husband asked us to join them at Redfish Lodge, after spending a few days in Ketchum (Sun Valley). However, after reading comments on TripAdvisor I almost cancelled the visit to Redfish Lodge First, my wife and I travel all over the world, and we stay in the best hotels (Mandarin Oriental in London; Lotte in Seoul;... more

Accompanied a friend who had booked reservations for three nights this month in a Fishhook Cabin which was advertised as a two bedroom cabin. Second bedroom was misrepresented. No adult could stand up in the tiny loft or even move around the bed. The only possible way to get into the bed was dive in from the bottom of the... more

Ok, I admit, I have been to Redfish Lake before and it is one of the most gorgeous spots on earth. For my first wedding anniversary my husband and I decided to try the Lodge. It was awful!!! The room was seriously misrepresented on their website, it was not worth the price we paid and the walls were as thin... more

We stayed only one night (in one of the cabins) and loved every second. What a wonderful place to unwind and find yourself again. The restaurant was good, not great, but everything else was A+. Highly recommended! more
