I spent a long weekend at the Riverside and LOVED it. My back deck looked out on the Sawtooths and the front porch looked out on the river. It was conveniently located. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were both very nice. The only downside was that my refrigerator didn't work. more

The accomodations are very nice as are the views. The owner was very rude. I agree with another review in that she acts as though she is put out by her guests. She even made derisive comments on more than one occasion. Great stay for those with tough skin. more

This is easily one of the nicest motels we have ever stayed in, by far the best in Stanley. We had the King Fireplace room on the second floor. We had booked a room originaly with another lodge and cancelled after seeing the facilities. This riverside lodge was just what we were looking for while visiting a wonderful place like Stanley. We really enjoyed staying at this motel. Had we been fishermen we could have cast off from the motel deck. The room was clean. Beds were quite comfortable and the sound of the river flowing by soothing.
