We booked the Affinia for a 2 night stay during Memorial Day Weekend. We couldn't have been happier with the perfect location...just 1 block from the magnificent mile and endless shopping possibilities. Renovations are still going on outside, so we missed the valet parking when we arrived due to trucks outside; however, there is a quite new parking garage right... more

I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2008 in a studio room. I paid $169 per night + tax (booked on travezoo) and all I have to say is that was a bargain! The room was huge with a small sofa/living area and separate king bed. The flat screen TV was also huge and could be turned to face... more

I stayed there with my 3 kids (ages 7,6 and 2) and husband and we loved it! The decor throughout is very funky but tasteful. The room was super clean. The beds are comfortable---love the pillow choices! My kids loved the sunken room with the stairs---entertaining when you're 2! The staff was friendly and efficient. Also a great location---not a... more

My wife and I stayed at the Affinia in March in anticipation of our daughters wedding last weekend. At that time the remodel of the exterior was not quite done although the rooms were complete. At that time I indicated the location of the hotel was it's best feature. Now the our wedding guests have spent the wedding weekend my... more

It's in a perfect location, just a 2 blocks from Hancock Tower and very close to Rush street. The rooms are huge and has a 5 star look to it. Very accomdating and curtious staff. Stayed here for 5 days and felt very safe taking walk in the neighbourhood at night. I know they charge for internet in the room... more

I thought this hotel was great. From the location, to the modern upscale room, to the friendly, accommodating staff. The lobby was still undergoing construction while we were there but the room was nice, the beds were great and the bathroom was beautiful. I liked the location, too. Close enough to the Mag Mile, but on a quiet street. This... more

We stayed at the Affinia Chicago for 5 nights. I booked a junior suite through the AAA website way back in November. We weren't paying a cut rate by any means so I was surprised by the room. It was like a galley kitchen, long and narrow. Yes there were two TV's, a couch, coffee table, bed, and a large... more

I love to stay in the modern design hotels and since my favourite hotel in Chicago was fully booked after many doubts I booked this hotel. I went there without any expectations, just with a thought of having a bed under the roof. This stay turned out to be a lovely one. I liked almost finished lobby of the hotel... more

I was completely blown away by this hotel. It was magnificent. I got a great deal and I am so happy that I stayed here. Before arriving I was nervous as I had read a few bad reviews about the impact the renovation was having on peoples stay, for example very noisy. However, whilst the renovation was still going on... more

My husband I stayed at the Affinia Chicago in March for a convention. We heard that the hotel had undergone a renovation and read great reviews. Unfamiliar with Chicago, we trusted the reviews, crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. We were not let down. Upon arrival, the lobby was still undergoing renovations and preparing for the opening of... more
