Stayed at this Doubletree for one night last week. The lobby area was quite nice and the check-in staff wasn't the friendliest group but they were decent. Had drinks and appetizers at Gibson's and it was fine if overly priced. The hallways were well kept and the carpeting while not new was clean. The room was in pretty good shape.... more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, checking in on Friday and leaving on Sunday. Parking was confusing... We were told that parking in an adjacent garage would be $11 for both nights by the person who helped us on the first day. The person who helped us when we checked out informed us that it was actually $11... more

There was no WiFi in the rooms, only the lobby. There was cat5 but it didn't work to well and cost $9.95 Place is across the street from convention center but if you take the overpass it is about four block walk as you have to go out the back of the hotel, across the parking ramp, past another hotel... more

I stayed one night in mid-April 2008. I arrived absurdly early, at about noon, but they checked me in immediately without any trouble. The cookie was yummy. My room was spacious and clean, and once I figured out how to use the lights it was both functional and comfortable. Great bed, nice feather comforter. Neutragena products in the bathroom. AC/heating... more

When you first enter the hotel, you see a beautiful lobby, and there was a nice smell of warm cookies baking. While every thing looked really nice, the service was just ok and frankly kind of lacking. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, which wasn't a problem. I was prepared to store the bags with the bell service.... more

My husband had a conference at a nearby hotel which booked up rooms quickly, so we stayed at this hotel instead. We paid a pretty good price (approx. $98 per night) for a large room with two double beds. The bathroom was clean and had a lovely glass-enclosed shower and a small bathtub. I did not have a problem with... more

The room was pretty nice, but the let-down was the service. On the first night we had tried to get some ice out of their ice machine but the whole room was flooded so we told the clerk at the front desk and a maid in the hallway. The next day noone had bothered to clean it up or even... more

I will say the room was very nice, so if you want a hotel room and nothing more, this is the place for you. Other than the room everytihng was a problem. The pool was freezing cold and the "hottub" was lukewarm on the first night. On the second night the hottub was a reasonable temperature, but the whole pool... more

I stayed one night at the Doubletree Rosemont. Since I had an early flight out of O'Hare, I figured it was better to endure a night in Rosemont with nothing to do than have to sweat making it to the airport on time for my flight the next morning. I'm glad I stayed at this hotel. The bed was indeed... more

United canceled my flight, so I was forced to spend the night in Chicago. There are not a lot of affordable, decent choices close to the airport.....The Doubletree seemed like a bargin at $179 plus tax. Yes, Doubletree has done a great job branding; Yes, Doubletree has nice new rooms, lobbies, etc, but the reality is the chain still has... more
