I would HIGHLY recommend the Econo Lodge of Freeport. I've had numorous stays with different Econo Lodges and this is by far, the best one i've stayed at. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and thier continental breakfast is great! The Front desk was very helpful. A big thanks to Sarah and Ashley for help with directions and places to go... more

We stayed 3 nights out of 4-we both agreed we had had enough- no wi-fi in our room(as advertised)-couldn't use the computer carpet was filthy-watched the dirt from my feet run off in the shower(nothing else to do at the time)- no fresh sheets-top cover was just thrown back(but neatly) over the unstrightened sheets- almost ran out of toilet paper(no... more

From the outside, this hotel doesn't look terribly special. Don't let that fool you. The rooms were recently updated, and were the freshest and cleanest of any Econo Lodge rooms I've seen. The comforter is a nice white duvet, instead a horrid multi-color thing. We had a king room, and there was plenty of room to set up a portable... more

Checked in late (around midnight) after a 4 1/2 hour drive. There was nobody at the front window. Waited for 15 minutes for this young woman to show up. She didn't have our reservation and told us the hotel was sold out. I showed her my confirmation print out and she "found" a room. She gave us a smoking room;... more

I was a bit worried when the only rooms available for my friend's wedding in Freeport was at the Econolodge. Turns out I had nothing to be worried about! Hotel rooms had recently been renovated and featured soft comfy beds and blankets/sheets you would expcet to find at the Hilton. Rooms were quiet, clean and still quite inexpensive. Don't let... more

I had a great stay at this hotel. It had a good rate compared to the other hotels in town and it was very clean. I think they renovated recently. Everyone we met on the staff was very nice. I highly recommend this place. more

I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes budget hotels can be iffy but this place was very clean and in good shape. The bed was really comfortable. It was definitely a good value for the money and the staff was great. I will definitely stay there on my next trip. more

I should note that I have never written a hotel review in my life but my experience at the Econolodge pursuaded me to write one. After a long day on the road, my wife and I checked in to the Econolodge. We were greetly by a very friendly front desk manager who referred us to a great restaurant. He also... more

Kudos to the management team at the Econolodge in Freeport for making my recent stay just perfect! Not only was my room clean and comfortable but the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Breakfast was great and the staff was very courteous and pleasant. A big thank you to Robin -- she was very helpful... more
