LimeRock Inn, ..."reminisce in elegance...", one of Rockland's most elegant bed & breakfasts, is tucked away on a quiet side street encircled by a wraparound porch and landscaped gardens. Step back in time to a world of relaxation in comfort and elegance in a beautiful coastal ME turreted Victorian mansion turned B&B. This exquisite example of Queen Anne architecture is reminiscent of the gracious lifestyle of a bygone era. more » « less

My husband and I stayed at the LimeRock Inn during the Lobster festival. We loved the LimeRock Inn with it's comfortable rooms and fabulous hosts (Frank and PJ). Also, breakfast was just as fantastic as it was always hot and fulfilling. The Lobster festival was just walking distance from the inn and we enjoyed those walks and returning to our... more

What a perfect find! We found the LimeRock Inn by using TripAdvisor and reading prior reviews. We were planning a two week stay all around Mid-Coast Maine beginning in Rockland for the Lobster festival. We researched early, relying heavily on Trip Advisor reviews and the websites of the properties we had it narrowed down to. The LimeRock Inn was the... more

After reading reviews of local motels, I decided I would be better off checking out local Inns. The price was right and there was one room left at LimeRock. The room I reserved was the smallest and least expensive at LimeRock, but even that room was just wonderful. The room was very clever in it's layout and was well isolated... more

I can't say enough good about the LimeRock Inn! We really lucked into this place. Not only is the inn itself lovely with beautiful gardens - the innkeepers, Frank and PJ are very hospitable, kind and even make a scrumptious breakfast! In just minutes, we were able to walk into town where all the shops and theater are. Also a... more

The hospitality and kindness of the hosts made our stay truly memorable as well as the very lovely, clean and well-appointed room. The owners new the better restaurants to chose and were very accommodating. more

Lime Rock Inn is conveniently located in walking distance to the center of town. The innkeepers could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Nice guest kitchen with goodies and easy access to internet. Lovely garden. Bright, clean rooms. Great breakfast. Could not be better! more

My other half , Al, and I had a lovely stay in the Grand Manon bedroom. It was indeed grand, with a four poster bed and attention to detail with all the decor. Big jacoussi bathtub too. Also delicious ricotta with orange zest pancakes with real maple syrup, and crisp bacon for breakfast. We'll be happy to return if we... more

Christy and I have stayed here the last 2 summers. Not only is the Lime Rock Inn an immaculate place to stay (and eat), but the innkeepers are awesome people! Stephen and Christy Maeker more

Frank and PJ were the perfect hosts. We spent a brief but enjoyable night away from our kids when we headed to Rockland to ride in the local Lobster Ride & Roll bike ride. Frank knew our itinerary, took care of making appointments for us, and the house was comfortable and welcoming, with lots of thoughtful details. We would love... more

The Limerock is a lovely place. Frank and PJ (the owners) make you feel very welcomed. We booked our stay a bit late and were fortunate to get in. But since we were so late we had to switch rooms after the first night. On night one we stayed in the Grand Mannan (s/p?)...and it was awesome. A gorgeous room... more
