Stayed during 4th july weekend. They gave us a room with just a double bed, a lot of goofy things were going on when i was checking in. People keep coming/calling front desk that there is already someone in the room they were given. Front desk clerks keep cursing the house keeping. Booked this hotel based on past stays while it was a Sheraton. Property has gone downhill with new ownership. When we arrived, much to our surprise, the pool was closed for major maintenance. As a SPG Platinum I was disappointed to see the only Starwood property in southern Maine change over to Wyndham since I would no longer earn points for my monthly stays there. No worries. The new management has taken a tired property and provided a breath of fresh air. It's cleaner, friendlier and much more hospitable under the Wyndham name.... more
