We did not read the reviews before we booked this hotel - - - what a mistake! From the moment we entered the small lobby with stained furniture, we knew it wasn't going to be good. When we went to our rooms we noticed the stains were all throughout the carpet, not to mention the indescriblable smell. The smell was... more

This is clearly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It's in a bad part of town, and it's no better inside the hotel. The door on the first room I was given was damaged from being kicked in and would not stay closed. The door on the second room was also damaged from being kicked in but at least... more

I book hotel travel for all race and event staff for my company. The Detroit Grand Prix was our 10th ALMS race of the year. We had around 35 rooms at this hotel. One of the guest's vehicle had 3 tires stolen in the 'secure' guest parking lot. Also, THREE credit card numbers were compromised from reportedly hotel staff and... more

our room had been recently remodeled, so it was nice. all the other troubles the other guests posted we had none of. the staff was excellent, friendly and acomodating. free shuttle, free parking, and free breakfast (not bad) made this place a winner. the fridge & microwave were nice to have as well. more

Our room was close to the ice machine and we heard it all night long. We also wanted to book another night and were told a new reservation had to be for two more nights. When we asked again in the morning we were told that they had a room for 175.00. If I wanted to pay that much I... more

I recently took a group to Detroit for an outing at Ford field. We booked 6 rooms that ranged in price from $109 to $129 before taxes. We chose this hotel because of its location to Ford Field. Here is my review. Positives. Its location to Ford Field. Breakfast was typical with Belgian waffles. Negatives. Small Rooms; Breakfast area consisted... more

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Microwave; refrigerator; room safe included! Highlight of trip was the shuttle service available to casino. Our driver went out of her way to show us the city (in route). Being from out of town, we saw Ford Field (Super Bowl XL) and Commerica Park..up close and personal. Upon arrival to casino, she dropped... more

Disgusting. Enough said? Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe it. I couldn't find a room anywhere else and was forced to stay there. Upon check in, I asked if they had a fitness center, and was directed to it. I went through the dirty hallways and up the dirty elevator where I found my dirty room. I peeled off the... more
