Booked this hotel by phone while in India, and it turned out to be one of the best ones we stayed in during our trip. For 1400rs we had a large double room, with a clean bathroom (although the shower head sprayed water everywhere except down!), TV, wardrobe, table and chairs, fan and a/c. I walked into the empty lobby of the Gnanam in early evening after a long hot journey. The receptionist smiled briefly and then immediately disappeared through a door at the back of reception.
