Our beautiful Garden Casita and/or guest rooms in the main Villa are ideally located only 2 short blocks from the center of town on the exclusive south shore. The only thing between you and the ocean is the beautiful pool and colorful, tropical flowers. The oceanside pool is a place where you can swim or lounge while listening to the gentle lapping of the ocean waves. Look up and you will see numerous types of ocean birds flying over. Look out and you may see dolphins playing in the surf or whales spouting or breaching as they swim by. Watch the activity of the surfers and the local fishermen. Even go down and buy some red snapper to prepare for dinner. Leaving the pool area you are directly on the beach which is usually full of swimmers, surfers, and boogie boarders. If it happens to be a bit rough, a short walk will take you to quiet protected coves where you can always swim. Another short walk brings you to the town center where you can dine on anything from gourmet to fish tacos, shop for original Mexican crafts, and if they are performing, enjoy the flame dancers. more » « less

This was the second time we have stayed at Casa Campana and it never disappoints. It is the best location in town and the hosts, Richard and Cheryl are extremely warm and welcoming; they also have great insight on restaurants in the area. I just got back from Sayulita and it was great. I went surfing, swimming with the dolphins, walked on the beach and horseback riding. The food was wonderful and there were new restaurants this year. Calypso and Rain Tree have especially good food. I stayed at Casa Campana right on the beach and I could just look out every morning... more
