This room was just OK. The TV must have come over with Columbus on the Santa Maria---19 inch screen, I would say it had to be from the 80's, and that is being generous. Sound would go in and out, loud, soft, over and over again. I asked if someone could PLEASE check it for us. We spent four nights... more

Great old casino/hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Elko. Rooms are $40 a night and clean and fine. Red Lion Inn is $100+ a night and modern yet it has high traffic and beat to hell. Plus you cannot walk to downtown from the Redlion. 92 mile walk) Stockman's is a good move and you can't beat the price.... more

I really liked the Stockman's Hotel and casino! It was a fun place to stay! The room was clean. The desk clerks, restaurant staff, bartenders, floor managers, security guards, dealers, housekeepers, etc. were very nice, very helpful and really cool people. Well worth the money! I'm looking forward to staying there again in the future! Frank H. Koller III Manistique,... more

We stayed there for 1 night after partying in town for the night. When i made the reservation i asked if the rooms were nice. The receptionist said yes they were very nice. Wrong. First of all, when we checked in,the receptionist wasn't very friendly. No smile, no greeting, she just ask for ID and Creditcard. When we got to the... more

We went into the casino, as out room was dark and musky smelling. My wife had her feet resting on the console as she is somewhat petite. This is something she has done for years. Many folks do, as their stools are uncomfortable. A "BARNEY FIFE' security guard came over to her and said,"could you put your feet down' Twenty... more

Great little hotel. Rooms have been remodeled. Excellent price, only paid $40. Free wireless internet- although was a little slow. If you're passing through I recommend staying here instead of a run of the mill chain. Only one gripe: why can't places put up a hook for your towel near the shower when the towel rack is on the other... more

Hi, I love Elko but if you can afford it the Red Lion is worth a look, there's a Starbucks downstairs for us Yuppies. There's a long story in here, but if you don't like to sleep in cold rooms, MAKE SURE the Stockmen's has turned the heat on in your room. The hotel heater was OFF in August when... more

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Stockmen's this past weekend. What a great place for about $35/night! The rooms were good sized, quiet, very clean, nicely furnished, with everything working. They have a nice little pool in the courtyard with flowers and deck furniture. The food was good and we had no complaints at all.... more

We live in Northern CA and have family scattered across Northern UT and Idaho, which leads to at least one roundtrip drive across Nevada every year. Stockmen's our prefered place to stop for a good nights sleep. Clean rooms, adequate beds, good service, great prices. We always ask for a room away from the front of the building to get... more
