Just come back from a week in Orlando and then flew onto Vegas staying at The Luxor. We are frequent visitors to Vegas and our aim is to try a new hotel each time we visit. This time it was The Luxor. This hotel is at the bottom/top of the Strip - whichever way you want to look at it.... more

It's been almost 8 years since the last time I was in Vegas, but before that I would go every year. With only one exception, I always stayed at the Luxor. I remember the hotel as being heavy on the Egyptian theme, King Tut's museum, etc. There is still the theme going on throughout the hotel, but we learned that... more

Loved the Luxor! I heeded another reviewer's advice and booked a tower room, rather than a pyramid room and it was great. Loved our view, the serive was very good and the pool was unbelievably great. MORE has a great breakfast buffet as well...so much to choose from and very good food. My only qualms: 1) Would like more late... more

The Luxor is a very unique hotel. The check in line was long but moved very quickly. The rooms were nice, but not anything spectacular. They were very clean. There was a wonderful buffet dinner we ate and the staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful! I would recommend this hotel for anyone! more

The Luxor is a big place. I hated the fact that there were no windows anywhere in the place except for your room. I stayed in the west tower, room was nice. I had no problems with the room or decor at all. Tipped the maid for nothing, service was the same when I left a $25.00 dollar tip and... more

Paid $200 a night and felt as if I am staying at some cheap motel. Rooms were OKish, paint was chipping off the walls, and the toilets had no exhaust, and hence smelled bad. The biggest problem I had was with the house keeping, I called them 7 times, to get me an extra towel and replace the non-working iron.... more

we stayed at the Luxor for 10 nights. The staff thought we were moving in with them !!!, as they are more used to visitors tha\t stay only a few nights. Hotel excellent in all ways. Great pool area, eating areas and things to do. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They gave great advice on where to buy specific... more

We booked the Luxor Hotel online as they were running a special deal package midweek. The check is line was worse than the checkin counter at an airport. We wait over an hour in a line to check in. It was like a zoo. The room was really large which was great but there was no refrigerator. We assumed (incorrectly)... more

We booked three nights at the Luxor because of good recomendations. We got to the hotel and were approached by time share people even before we checked in. Then we had to wait in line to check in for about 15 minutes. The lady from the reception offered us to upgrade the room for us to get a "nice" room.... more

NUTURE SPA: THE BEST massage experience so far... I went to the spa with my friend who is a spa director in SD. We are avid spa-goers and on this 4 day trip to Vegas we also went to DRIFT SPA at the PALM PLACE(but that's another review :) ) So, we both booked the 80 min warmed butter stone... more
