My husband and I went to Reno for Hot August Nights. We brought our 1967 chevelle malibu and were told by security to park it in front of the lobby. The next morning my husband wanted to get coffe and when he saw his car the windshield was busted. The front desk had a horrible attitude. All they could say... more

booked through hotwire on short notice for $29 a night, only stayed one night as we were returning home from vacation and needed a place to stay to spead out the drive. Hotel is definitely on the older side of the ledger and the neighborhood is seedy at best. The room was not very good, visible dirt marks on the... more

I just had to write a comment on our stay at the Holiday Inn Reno. It was so nice to be away from all of the crime of the downtown strip, but close to the fun of Reno. We felt safe in our hotel and we were treated like honored guests. It was a really refreshing experience for us all.... more

My overall exp was okay with this hotel. However here is what I observed: 1) room : Was clean but there was smell!! 2) Area : Not good. One person knocked on my car window and asked for money. Since we were group of 3-4, so I was not afraid. 3) Food: Was good 4) Casino: Not good, but you... more

We stayed at this hotel in late April for two nights. To start with I was nervous about this place because of the bad reviews. I did only pay about 45usd per night on Hotwire for what they list as a three star. It is not that bad! Starting off when we called for the free shuttle from the airport... more

We booked a low-cost 3 * downtown Reno hotel through Hotwire (about $42 including taxes for one night!) and discovered we had been booked at the Holiday Inn. After reading all the other reviews at TripAdvisor I suspected this had been a big mistake and almost abandoned this reservation and made another elsewhere. But I decided to live with the... more

First time stay at Holiday Inn, and it will be the last. Hotel staff look like they don't know what they're doing. They put us in the room right next to the elevator with narrow entrance. I'm skinny, and I barely made it through the door. The room is hidden next to the elevator, people would easily miss it, thought... more

We checked in at the Holiday Inn-Reno Downtown on May 3, 2008. The hotel is a little over a mile from where the main downtown attractions are such as the casinos and restuarants. It is located in a more rundown side of the city. When we entered the lobby, we noticed right away how dated and rather seedy everything looked...nothing... more

this has to be the most disapointing Hotel in the Holiday Inn chain i have ever stayed at. The hotel was grotty on the outside and just as bed on the inside. You do not feel safe. As we got out of the car to walk to check inn a car gunned itself towards my dad. The large amount of... more

My husband and booked this SCARRY, HORRIBLE ghetto hotel online directly from the holiday inn. As we pulled into the neighborhood it was filled with druggies and drunks! My daughter who is 11 said "there are bad people here, im not getting out of the car"! I could not beleive where this hotel was and how dirty and run down... more
