An amazing honeymoonThis is a nice hotel and within walking distance of some good restuarants, bars and amenities. The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean and the bed were comfortable. Overall, good experience. more
Stayed there a couple of times (out of necessity), most recently, Jul. '08. True, it's a nice hotel etc. but you have to be ready to be squeezed with (outrageous) surcharges. Parking FOR HOTEL GUESTS =$13.00 Daily(other places - FREE). Internet Wifi $10.00 again most other classier hotels, it's complimentary. more
If you need to stay in New Brunswick, the Hyatt Regency is hands down your best choice. It is very centrally located, within walking distance of the train station, as well as many restaurants and bars. Even if you need to go to the other side of the Rutgers campus (which isn't within walking distance), a cab ride will cost... more
We weren’t planning on staying in NB but got "stuck" with it thru priceline. We had a very pleasant two night stay. The rooms were clean and roomy. There was a bit of a smell (disinfectant?) that the wife didn’t like too much. The staff was accommodating and helpful (when they spoke English). The Health club is 1st class and... more
My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt in New Brunswick while visiting family. The hotel is very large (about 270 rooms). The lobby area is beautiful - very modern. Easy access from the parking garage ($6/day on weekends). The rooms are very nice and clean. They are large and comfortable - very well appointed. The bathroom had plenty... more
The Hyatt in New Brunswick has definitely been one of my best hotel finds. I stumbled upon it by accident when one of my family members was admitted to the hospital there and I needed a place to stay. What we love: The location! It's a chic retreat only minutes off the NJ Turnpike. The lobby and rooms are decorated... more
Being on a long business trip in many cities, I have been in charge of booking rooms for our team in the East Coast for a duration of 6 weeks. I thought the Hyatt in New Brunswick, with recent renovations, and it's close vicinity to restaurants and a "nightllfe" in walking distance would be a great stop on our trip.... more
I had meetings in both New Brunswick as well as Philadelphia, and this hotel was incredibly convenient--it's 30 minutes from Newark and just 3 miles off the New Jersey Turnpike. The hotel (including room) looks like it was recently renovated, and despite there being several college bars across the street, the room was exceptionally quiet. Self-parking was $13, and they... more
I've stayed at this hotel several years ago. Since my last stay, they have gone through a major renovation. First, the good. Great location. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is a reasonable distance from Newark airport. The staff was great. Very helpful and willing to go out of their way to help out. Some of... more
The Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick is an outstanding hotel. Conveniently located, the hotel obviously prides itself in keeping up to date as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The staff is not overbearing and are available at all times. The hotel restaurant is a nice place to relax although the menu appeared limited. more
