The claim that staying at the Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast is "like living in a bakery" is by no means an exaggeration! In fact, it's even better than most bakeries we've experienced---no stale, end-of-the-day croissants or hard-as-a-rock cookies here. We truly couldn't believe how Linda managed to keep so many delicious baked goods constantly coming. And we're not just talking... more

The Smirks, proprietors of the B & B, were the perfect hosts--- friendly, but not intrusive, and provided an excellent breakfast of french toast, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits, scones, etc. They constantly had freshly baked items available to guests such as brownies, chocolate chip cookies, coffee cake, trail mix, scones, etc. as well as iced tea, lemon ade... more

From the moment you walk in the door of the Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast you are surrounded by wonderful smells, greeted by the kindest faces and the feeling that you just walked into your long lost home. My girlfriend and I went to Cooperstown, NY for a long weekend getaway and picked the Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast because of their... more

John & Linda are extremely friendly hosts. They made our stay perfect. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, and the rooms are exactly as described on their website. My wife and I brought our 3 children, and they absolutely loved staying at John & Linda's. This is a great place for families, but is also quiet enough for a couple... more

They are incredible, kind, sweet, and very knowledgable of the area. When my wife and I left, it was a sad day. We didn't want... more

My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed here for 2 nights. We booked room #2 because it had 2 twin beds for the kids and a queen for us. We had our own bathroom and the room was very clean, warm, and comfortable. Linda and John are the innkeepers and they were great people. Very friendly and inviting.... more

I surprised my husband for his birthday with a trip to Cooperstown to see the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. After researching several B&B's on line, I decided to book the Cooperstown B&B. When we arrived on Friday night, we were greeted with warm hospitality. John & Linda made us feel very much at home. The decor in their home... more

As a solo traveler who likes my privacy and is a little introverted, I had never been really interested in staying at a B&B. I didn't know whether it would be private and how much I would be expected to interact and make small talk with other guests. But the Cooperstown B&B had such wonderful reviews, and off-season rates, that... more
