I stayed at the Ravel three weeks ago looking for a cheaper alternative to Manhattan. While the hotel was definitely cheaper I would've rather in hindsight payed the extra and stayed in Manhattan. This is a good hotel, but for those wanting a true NYC experience, I wouldn't recommend it. Ravel is brand new and is still working out some of the kinks.
