The room stinks mustiness and dampness because the windows are always closed. There is no ventilator in the bathroom to allo moisture get out and the ceiling was leaking. The food was terrible. My husband got sick with fever, stomach aches, diarrhoea and vomits. The unhealthy environment in the room destroyed our honeymoon. more

We stayed at Plantation Club Resort from 20-22 March 2007 and were generally satisfied with the hotel. The hotel was far from Beau Vallon beach and Victoria and the taxi ride was US$30 from the airport. For local bus ride, it took 1 1/2 hours to reach Victoria. I had the chanc to have a suite room for a very good price so that made the stay better! I don't know about the other rooms but mine was fantastic! Good Stuff I visited the Plantation Club during January 2007 which is an older Hotel for a period of 8 days. Sure some of the linen in the bedrooms could do with an upgrade but the bedrooms are large and comfortable with a small lounge and large bathroom. We stayed at the Plantation Club on Mahe for a couple of nights in August 2006 and were very disappointed. The rooms were OK and kept clean, but generally in need of refurbishment. We felt that the pool was very dangerous - there were large patches of missing tiles all around it and rusty screws etc. around the childrens pool.... more
