We found the Sea Witch online and were excited that we had found a nice place to stay with a cafe. We have a family of 6 and they offered a room to accomdate us. When we got there we were pleased with the price of the room and the room was pretty decent but the staff wasn't all that... more

In terms of the actual motel, it basically served it's purpose, which was an affordable place on the beach. My group felt slightly mislead by the website, with it's marketing of the cafe & the boardwalk, both draws for staying at the motel. The motel is basically on a strip with other hotels & motels, which not much else in... more

Overall a very nice and quaint place to stay if you're visiting the Carolina Beach / Kure Beach area but... be advised that the cafe and tiki bar they advertise has been completely closed and sold to other investors and has not been reopened nor is there a timeline for when that will happen. Another issue would be the parking,... more

We found the Seawitch online but booked by phone. My husband and I stayed with another couple for the weekend of the beach music festival and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (standard double) was a little on the small side but nice and clean. Good location. Cafe clean and food was fair. Great... more

I went to the cafe with my mother and brother. My brother is wheelchair bound. We were guided to a table and got settled only to be informed that we would have to switch seats because the table behind us was there first! We didn't even notice there was an occupied table, none of them were there. Which is fine,... more

I tried the Sea Witch Cafe on July 30, 2006 with a friend. The weather was great so we decided to eat outside. The Tiki Bar atmosphere was great! The Live band was setting up and I loved the casual decor and all of the palms. However, Dinner was terrible. We started with steamed oysters and drinks. The oysters were... more

I have stayed all over the world and this is the only place that considers toilet paper optional. When we returned to the room on the first day, no maid service had been provided. We were told that this had to be requested. We were NOT told this upon check-in, apparently we were just supposed to "know." When the toilet... more

My Husband and I got married on the beach in front of the Sea Witch Motel and held our reception at the cafe. We also held our rehersal dinner there as well. I found the staff at both the hotel and cafe were wonderful. We were so pleased that we came back a year later on our anniversary and celebrated... more
