We arrived in Morganton and chose Days Inn based upon our past experience with the chain. My husband checked us in, but he did mention that he couldn't understand the English of the lady at the desk. We got there and they had our reservation-no problem. Could barely hear what the man was saying behind the plastic but we dealt with that. Went to our room to discover and a clogged toilet. Not just clogged with toilet paper--but other stuff as well. So, back to the desk again. We got another room. The toilet worked in this... more

I stayed at the Days Inn of Morganton for 2 days while visiting friends in the area. First of all, they claimed to have "lost" my reservation and put me in a smoking room that smelled like an ashtray.
