Enjoyable stay - it's such a luxury to stay in a hotel like this when you hoilday in Spain, Greece etc. The rooms & bathrooms are beautiful as are the communal areas. The food is fanatstic but drinks are a little pricey. There is a modern leisure club with all the facilities but the pool area needs up-dating. Pleasant surroundings... more

I spent one night with my 6 year old son and wife. The hotel is located in a quiet area with trees surrounding the hotel. The hotel lounge is smaller than those found at other Village hotel chains but not a problem. The bathroom was also a little bit on the smaller side, too, but it was clean with the... more

You get what you pay for, stayed a few nights with a special deal offered. The hotel is used for parties and the last two nights were very noisy until the early hours. The previous comments over paper thin walls are not exagerated, the last night was a wedding reception and to add to the general noise of the disco... more

Attended a conference here so stayed over the previous night. The room was very nice but the walls were paper thin and the people in the adjoining room were up talking until 1:30am and I could hear every word! Evening meal in the restaurant was lovely, as was breakfast and lunch the following day. Very impressed. Used the gym but... more

Very smart hotel but expensive if you're stopping with children and no family room available. Adjoining rooms are great but works out far more expensive. We ended up with 2 twin rooms in the end. Decor simple but ok. Room was a bit dusty in places and could have done with a bit of an extra dust. Facilities in hotel... more

We recently stayed there for two nights in July, on a weekend trip to Liverpool. I thought I was getting a great deal, as I paid £149 for two nights, for 2 adults, and 2 children, with dinner included upon arrival the first night, and breakfast included each morning. Upon check in, we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of... more

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway. We are members of the Village Leisure Club and had a voucher to use so had 2 nights for the price of one. We paid extra to have the superior room and it was lovely. Having said that, seeing some of the standard rooms they were also lovely - the only... more

We travelled over to watch a Liverpool match and couldnt get a hotel in the city. We had a tip from a friend from the area that this was a nice hotel and he was was spot on. It is located about 10 mins (£10-15 in a taxi) from the city centre. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. We... more

Stayed one night here because all hotels in Liverpool were full (Barcelona were in town!). It is absolutely miles from anywhere, but seems quite pleasant. Didn't have time to use all the facilities but staff pleasant and decor fine. Bar was still open for a pint at 11.30pm which was a plus! Breakfast was also very good value - decent... more
