The Camelot is in a great location near numerous attractions and only a short cab ride to my favorite, Broadway at the Beach. We loved Myrtle beach and the ocean view but $2k for the week we would like a cleaner atomosphere. The service and hospitality were great but try and wear white socks and walk on the carpet for 5 minutes, ugh. The public restrooms were pretty much a subway stop. When booking this hotel we were asked what floor we preferred, so we asked to be below the fifth floor. I called when we were about 2 hours away to confim again and was told everything was fine. When we arrived therre was a line of about 8 people checking in with only 2 attendants, this took over an hour.... more
