This is an older Marriott, where an architect decided that having half the rooms overlook a sunless inner atrium would be a good idea. There are rooms here (My associate was booked into one) that do not have a window ! Just a block wall. Unbelieveable ! The front desk goofed up almost every part of our reservations. It's a... more

I have been staying here since every year since 2003 for the Honda Hoot. The first year I was in a room which faced onto the Atrium thus it had no natural daylight, which I found quite oppressive. In subsequent years I have either had a room facing the river or my favourite one facing the city, you get a... more

This is our second stay at the Marriott... it is affordably priced and close to the UT campus and downtown Knoxville. We like staying here as we come in to watch the Lady Vols play basketball... it is right next to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame! While this isn't a luxury hotel, it is clean and well maintained. more

Nice service. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Big bathrooms. 24hr fitness center. Decent room service. What more do you need? Oh and the $85 corporate rate we get is pretty sweet. more

$175 with taxes for a modest hotel. Nice bedding, outdated bathrooms. Couldn't get an answer at room service at 8:10 AM. I noticed there were no comment cards available in the guest rooms. Nice staff. Overall, just OK, not bad, not great. more

I was here as part of a conference in April 2007. I found it very nice for a conference hotel. Nothing overally exciting, but a good, comfortable place to stay. more

This Marriott Hotel was very unusual as far as architecture goes. It reminds me of a Mayan temple or a pyramid. We were there for 7 nights in July during Junior Olympics. Upon a late arrival, we were given a room with 2 double beds as booked. The room was extremely small, with 2 beds, a desk, and one chair... more

This is mine and my husband's hotel of choice for University of Tennessee football games. Always a very friendly staff and they go out of their way to make your weekend enjoyable. Super clean rooms and decorated very lovely. They have a shuttle to take you to the game or you may walk as we normally do. Excellent food in... more

I stay in numerous Marriotts across the country. I would rate this one below the national average for Marriotts. It's OK ,but nothing else. During my three day stay one of two main elevators was broken and never repaired. This property is older, very used, and somewhat tired. Some of the Courtyard properties in the area are newer, cleaner, better... more
