Was a lovely hotel. We had a sea view room which was breathtaking so try to get one of these if you can. it's situated right on the bay so one min walk to the beach. Great for a romantic getaway. Staff were very helpful. Food in the evening was excellent. My only gripe is avoid at all costs the... more

We arrived with a very warm welcome from reception but unfortunately the temperature and pressure of the water left alot to be desired. When all soaped up the shower would just stop and temperature would fluctuate from fairly hot to cold. We never had need to use the cold tap for the shower the whole time we were there. The... more

We stayed in this hotel in April 2008 and as the hotel had just opened some of the facilities were not fully operational (ie the restaurant in the hotel was not open for evening meals) However the Black Dog Pub next door to the hotel was an excellent alternative. They serve a varied menu of both lunch time and evening... more

It was our first visit to Jersey and being our Ruby Wedding Anniversary it was going to be a special time. We arrived and were allocated a room on floor 5, one floor beyond the lift travel. Took the lift to floor 4 and proceded up the stairs to floor 5. We had only been in the room a matter... more

The bed in our room on the third floor (two singles pushed together) was very uncomfortable, no support and lumpy - and the bath too grotty to sit in. After complaining we were moved to the fourth floor, where the bed was more comfortable, the bath was in slightly better condition, but it was very difficult to get hot water.... more

We have just stayed for one night at the Waters Edge as part of a longer break in Jersey. The location is excellent (if you have a car) and the views from the public rooms ( dining room/lounge) are superb. The Black Dog pub next door is very accomodating with a good menu and judging by the numbers eating there... more

Thank goodness for the staff, as they are about all this holetel has to offer! Don't get me wrong, the location is fantastic, but the condition of the holetel detracts from this. In their wisdom, the owners have decided to build apartments alongside. They should first consider spending money on their existing rooms! Remember when Dallas was on TV? That... more

Reception on arrival was friendly and immaculate. The room was huge and very clean with a partial seaview which was an unexpected bonus. The decor was slightly out dated and the bed was very soft but overall we were very pleased The attached pub was very friendly when we had a drink there and the restaurant food was lovely, albeit... more

I stayed here for 11 nights. The first five I was on a half board basis but after shabby treatment in the restaurant on the fifth night I decided to just have bed with breakfast. On the fifth night despite booking a table for 20.30 and being on time I had to wait 5 minutes for the menu and wine... more

Wonderfully relaxing holiday: going to sleep listening to the soft rustle of the waves breaking on a pebble beach is my idea of bliss! The value of this hotel is first and foremost its location: ideally place d to enjoy the footpaths of the Northern coast, which offer sumptuous views in a car-free environment. Having the beach at the foot... more
