As planned I returned to the Ashbank with a friend and her two daughters. Staying for 5 days we explored the surrounding areas and marvelled at the sights and scenery. The staff at Ashbank recommended particular areas to visit and gave sound directions also! We were delighted by its history and the girls enjoyed the wildlife (seals, birds of prey).... more

We have just returned from a 5 day blissful stay at the Ashbank. It was great! Had a long weekend there last year, but wasn't enough time to enjoy all the great activities. Our girls 16 , and 7yrs were kept busy with the fabulous beach, horseriding and exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The hotel is small, friendly and immaculate. Enjoyed... more

Following a family bereavment my huband and I and a number of family members stayed at the Ashbank Hotel while in Carradale for the funeral. The night before the funeral was a terrific storm and the Hotel like many in the area was left without electricity. This problem did not phase Tracy and Fiona and in the morning we had... more

We stayed at the Ashbank in August 2007, and would definiteley recommend it. The rooms were spotlessly clean & the home cooked food was excellent (especially the steak pie !) We found the owners, Tracy & Fiona, could not do enough for us - nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel right at home, as if we... more

I stayed at the Ashbank Hotel in July for a week with my boyfriend. On arrival we were greeted by the new owners - sisters Tracy & Fiona who seemed to be settleing in well decorating the dining area & redesigning the restaurant menu. The hotel is in a beautiful location over looking the busy golf course. The bedrooms are... more

What a lovely hotel set in a beautiful little country village right on the coast, with amazing beaches. We arrived on Friday evening where we were shown to our rooms, with amazing views of the beach and golf course. The food is first class ranging from locally caught scallops to homemade steak pie (highly recommended), with an excellent choice of... more
