We had six people with us and were surprised to discover that all hotels in our price range only accepted four to a room...until we found the Comfort Suites that is...the price was less than most of the other ones and slept six. We were expecting one room with two doubles and a sleeper. We were wonderfully surprised to find... more
I am not a harsh reviewer. Most places I can make do, but this one needs this review. We did just pick up one of the discount travel books. This hotel had an indoor pool, so my child wanted to stay here. What a dump!! It became a joke that we would take her back there if she did not... more
I came to Memphis, TN to look at some real estate to add to my portfolio of investments. I usually only stay at five star hotels. I was shocked when my travel agent booked me with the commoners at a mid-scale property. What a pleasant suprise. The property is an all suite hotel. The best thing about Comfort Suites is... more
My wife and I are simple country folks. We went to the big city of Memphis, TN to see the bright city lights and all the wonderful attractions. Comfort Suites was right smack dab in the middle of evertything. Those folks at the hotel were really nice to us. The manager gave us directions and advice bout what to see.... more
The room smelled musty and the air didn't work well, the front desk made us feel like we were bothering them when we would speak to them, the indoor pool was heated but small and crowded, the couch and sleeper sofa in the room had stains and were very worn, the key cards had to be reset because "they just... more
My employees and I stayed at the comfort suites the last week in April of 2008. Comfort Suites has a very good reputation and we got a pretty decent deal on my 6 rooms. After one day of being there and once the weekend came, the hotel took a turn for the worse. There were prostitues soliciting guests to partake... more
This hotel does not live up to Comfort Suites expectations. We stayed in a two room suite. The hallways smelled of rotten garbage and cigarette smoke - even though the hotel is suppose to be 100% smoke free. There was a loud party across the hallway from us that we complained about and management didn't do anything about it. The... more
More noise than I have ever had to endure at a hotel, after the third call to security at one in the morning, I was finally able to fall asleep. I would not stay there again. The rooms were average at best, noticed some black mold in the bathroom, the room keys would work for a while but I would... more
My husband and I stayed at Comfort Suites, Thousand Oaks when we were in town to see old friends. I would say that we had a nice stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, and it was so quiet that you could hear a pen drop. They had a security gaurd at night and I liked that.... more
