After seeing all the fantastic reviews on this website we thought surely it can't be THAT good. It isn't. It's better. Julie and Noreen are the nicest people we have ever stayed with. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a superb location. The breakfasts were spot on and the honesty bar is... more

After a very successful family stay in February I was back again this month on my own. What a great place! Love the rooms, the atmosphere and the location... you wont find better in the town. The rooms really are something special, and the rest of the place not far behind. Pay extra for the rooms on the front, what... more

We are regular visitors to Criccieth, but have struggled previously to find accommodation that has been to our liking. However, our stay at the Glyn y Coed has now put an end to that! We had a great sized room, with a king size bed in a room over looking the castle. There was fantastic attention to detail within the... more

Very attractive and comfortable room with outstanding views of castle and coastline. Entire hotel is well furnished, decorated, and airy. Owners are friendly and very attentive. Very convenient to the city center and restaurants and a great base for the Llyn. One of the best we've experienced in Wales. Highly recommended. more

This was a great hotel with a lovely atmosphere and really good value. Rooms were small, but clean and very nicely furnished & decorated. We also got a key in the letterbox because owners were out. But once they returned they couldn't have been more friendly ! Julie is lovely and so helpful and nice. Thanks for a fantastic stay... more

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend break at this hotel. Julie was extremely welcoming when we arrived and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had fantasic views overlooking the bay and castle. Would definitely recommend staying here. more

This is our 6th visit to the Glen-y-coed Hotel & our stay is always a joy.The hotel is well decorated throughout with big windows in the front & you can see all over the bay. The rooms are very comfortable with tea & coffee facilities, & on suite bathrooms with clean towels every day. Cleanness is Paramount .Breakfast is the... more

On the advice of fellow tripadvisor guests, we booked to stay here for two nights at the end of July. It was as good as everyone had said. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, everything looks fresh, new and clean. We had the family room which is at the rear of the property so no seaview, but is tucked away... more
