Hotel Cielo Rojo is located in the "city center" of the tiny fishing village of San Pancho. Mere blocks from the beach, the hotel's best feature is its location. Arriving in this small town was incredible itself--but staying at the hotel exceeded my expectations of independtly run, affordable hotels in Mexico. It's only 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. My room had a queen size bed with tile floors, shower, bottled water, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Breakfast was complimentary each morning, and the food choices were AMAZING at... more
