My husband and I were not at all impressed with this motel. Our room was small, it stunk, the carpet was sticky and we left (after one night) with red welps around our ankles (fleas???) I have stayed here 2 times. I have only stayed there to pick up my daughter who lives there for a trip home to Michigan. It was cheap and clean. Most of the time I spent in the room was to sleep or shower. Other than that why pay more?! I rather spend the money on my family. : )... more

We have just returned from our stay at the mountain valley lodge, which was a three night stay but we had fleas very bad in the room and after the first night we complain they said that it would be taken care of because she had other people complaining also, but the next night was the same. after the 1st hotel we booked through hotels corp was not acaptable we went back to there office and switched us to Mt. This place i far from a five star hotel, but the staff here will treat you like a five star guest. Unbelievably nice and helpful. Rooms could be updated, but they were fine. Great price and will stay again!! more

Housekeeping is to be commended for the clean rooms at the Mountain Valley. Rates are good for families on a budget. The only complaint I would have is that the walkways stayed filthy the whole week and ashtrays need to be put out on balconys so smokers will quit throwing their butts down on the parking lot. Our family usally goes to Pigeon Forge on vacation, the kids love it. We decided to try the Mountain Valley Inn because we thought it was a good deal. We found out why.
