we expeted not much but got a nice room. spacious and clean. The trick to get the shower working is ...very funny ! The " vieuw on the river" is misleading, you have to go to the edge of the river to see it down there but its worth wile. The breakfast was ( again) minimum items ... is it... more

Nice rooms in a town with nothing much else around. Good place to stay for Monument Valley. Expensive for routine room, but market dictates price I guess. Website overblown - no beer or alcohol available there (website said yes), no hummingbird feeders(website extolled hummingbirds on the property at feeders), back of property to river is bulldozed disarray. Mexican Hat, Utah, is the kind of town that you might miss if you blink. The scenery is amazing. Red rocks, rolling San Juan River right at your door. Simple accommodations. Clean, large room. Friendly native staff. Navajo reservation is across the river. If you need fancy, go elsewhere. more

$82 plus tax for a better than average motel. No real grumbles. View at rear on the porch good for a beer at sundown. Steak house up the road serves steaks on a swinging BBQ. OK, but not spectacular. more
