I've stayed at this "resort" as a business user. I would not recommend it for those who are travelling for business, it's fine for travellers that don't expect much. I attended a conference at the Virginia Beach Resort and Conference Center. The guest rooms have nice balconies, if you're lucky enough to get a bay view, rather than a parking lot view. We spent Easter weekend at the hotel and it was very nice. The weather was cold and snowing, but the children were swimming inside and enjoying it. The pool area has been done over along with the hot tub area. New tiles and steps makes a big difference. Our room had new window treatments and the room was much brighter.... more

We had our church retreat at this hotel and it added to the wonderful time we had. The service was wonderful and they were very accommodating.
