My husband and I chose this B&B because we wanted to be near the breathtaking Koke'e state park and Waimea canyon yet just a few steps from the water. We got that and much more. Our hosts Patrick and Jules enhanced our Kauai experience with their warm hospitality and on-target suggestions of places to visit based on our interests. Every... more

Hale Puka Ana was absolutely perfect for our trip to Kauai. The island is a perfect mix of what we love to do - hiking, relaxing on gorgeous beaches, kayaking, eating great food, exploring, etc. The bed and breakfast was in a perfect location to all of this and more. It is located on the sunny side of the island... more

We also had a fantastic 3-day stay at Hale Puka 'Ana. Breakfast was just what we prefer before hiking and kayaking: fruits, pastries, cereal, coffee. There were also plenty of granola bars and snacky items that Jules kindly allowed us to take on our hikes and kayak trip. The location of this B&B is ideal for folks who want to... more

Given the wide variance you can get from B&Bs I'm always a bit hesitant and rely very heavily on reviews. The positive feedback on Hale Puka Ana was all spot on and I highly recommend this spot for people looking to spend time in underrated Waimea. A couple bullet points on key aspects I value: 1. Checking in / Making... more

We were greeted by very friendly hosts (Patrick and Jules), who were very nice and helpful. Their home was very clean and we just loved their two super-friendly dogs. We stayed in the master suite, which had lots of windows and fell asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean and a lovely sea breeze... a really great place to... more

We recently stayed at the Hale Puka Ana and had a great time! The B&B is located on a gorgeous beach and it is by far the sunniest spot on the island(especially in the winter). There were days when it was raining on the entire rest of the island and was still sunny there. The deck is beautiful to sit... more

My husband and I spent the entirety of our 10-day honeymoon at Hale Puka 'Ana back in August. The trip was something we will both never forget, due in large part to the wonderful hospitality of the owners of this lovely B&B. Patrick and Jules, the young, friendly, and energetic couple that owns and manages Hale Puka 'Ana, made our... more

We recently ended a 16 day trip to Hawaii by spending 3 nights at the Hale Puka Ana. We can honestly say that this was the best place we stayed during our trip. The name means house of the sunset, and it is aptly named. There is a very nice lanai facing the ocean, where you can watch the sunset... more

We stayed at the Hale Puka Ana for our anniversary in October 2007. We were a little apprehensive about spending our vacation at a stranger's home. As soon as we arrived our ideas were dismissed. The owners, Patrick and Jules were so accomodating and comfortable to stay with. Upon arrival we were greeted with a fresh papaya drink as they... more

Patrick and Jules are very welcoming hosts and made a good effort to let us know all their favorite spots near the house. Breakfast was ample, served with fresh fruits and an assortment of starches like muffins and croissants. You can take your breakfast to the outdoor deck and watch the ocean. Even though the house is right across the... more
